Holy Guacamole!

Antioxidants. That's my favorite word these days. And if its Avocados which are one of the sources for antioxidants, then I will go to town on it without a whimper.

avocado This large-seeded buttery fruit has Glutamine, an antioxidant necessary to neutralize free radicals that could harm us with heart diseases and some cancers. But that’s not all. The many uses of avocado just baffles me – face mask, oil, and a whole range of bath and body products.

Here is fun video from YouTube called the Guacamole Song. Watch it and do the cha cha cha to the kitchen to make this guilt-free dip!

Ingredients for Guacamole are:

2 ripe avocados, peeled and seeded
1 small red onion chopped
1 jalapeño finely chopped
1 firm tomato finely chopped
Handful of cilantro finely chopped
Juice of one lemon
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Half teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt
